![]() SCAM ALERT Our Merseyside Police colleagues have told us about someone pretending to be a Fire Inspector from Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service. This man says he has to do a fire safety check in homes, and that anyone not letting him in is committing a crime. He does NOT work for the Fire Service. Please do not allow anyone into your home that you are not sure about. If someone says they are from Cheshire Fire Service you can always check by asking their name, service number and then calling to check they are who they say they are. Suspicious activity should also be reported to Cheshire Police

Week ending 26 June 2020
Firstly can I apologise for Friday morning, because I had to leave early on Thursday to take my daughter to the orthodontist one of the ground workers locked the gates when finishing. Unfortunately he used the wrong padlock so when I got there Friday I couldn’t get in, we had to access through the pedestrian gate and then cut the lock off to open the main gates. By this time 2 wagons where waiting to get in, It was just one of those things and hopefully wont happen again.
We have been on site today preparing for the arrival of the crane on Monday, Plots 3 / 4 / 5 and 6 are having the block and beam floor laid on Monday so we have a crane booked along with about 5 or 6 wagons with the concrete beams on.
Apart from Monday deliveries should be just a mortar delivery in the afternoons and 1 or 2 concrete deliveries through the week.
The site cabins have been delayed until the 10th July, this is because of paperwork to United Utilities and Scottish power being held up. This will be cleared for the 6th July so we have the new cabins booked for the 10th.
Take care everyone, any questions please ask.
Kind Regards
IAN FORBER.

Good Morning all,
I was going to tell you that next week the first delivery of face brick are coming but they arrived at 7.30 this morning.
The bricks we are going to use for the main build are Forterra Victorian mixture, and for the contrasting panels between some windows we are using Weinerberger smooth reds.
I am hoping to have a test panel built soon in the 2 contrasting bricks and when I do I will send a photo.
This week the surface water drainage was virtually completed, we just have the hydro brake to finish off.
We have started the foul drainage now and that should be completed in the new road next week.
Foundations – we have dug out and concreted plots 10 and 11 (bungalows ) in the top corner of the site backing on to Mansefield Road.

Week ending 19 June 2020
Not much progress I'm afraid due to this horrendous weather.
All foundations are now in to all plots and we are aiming to have to block and beam flooring going on plots 3,4 5 and 6 on Monday 29th June.
The majority of the spoil has now been taken away so the amount of mainsway wagons should reduce now.
The weather forecast for next week is good so hopefully we will be back on track, the bricklayers have asked to work Saturday next week but obviously they wont be using any plant or machinery so will be all quiet.
Have a nice weekend everybody
Kind Regards
IAN FORBER.
