Kingsley Village
in the heart of Cheshire

Anne Kavanagh has sent through the following regarding some forth-coming shows:

Dear All,

Please find below details of our next Cheshire Rural Touring Arts Event. If you haven’t attended one of these before then it is really something you should come along to. Each year CRTA allow us access quality performers at a heavily subsidised rate. This time our event is  The Ramayana: Emily Hennessy & Sheema Mukherjee, and based from past feedback at these events then  I am sure we will not be disappointed.

Friday 8th November – 7.30pm   Kingsley Community Centre.

Storyteller Emily Hennessy and virtuoso musician Sheema Mukherjee on sitar conjure up a vivid, wild and beguiling world in this retelling of the much-loved Indian epic.  When Sita is kidnapped by the ten-headed demon king, Rama needs all the help he can get to rescue her.  Who better to have on your side than a shape-shifting monkey?  What could possibly go wrong?

Tickets can be purchased on line by clicking the link below or from The Red Bull, Kingsley, Hollands Pharmacy (Kingsley) or from Dandelion (Frodsham)
